Course Overview
This course is for learners who have achieved the required prior qualifications, skills and knowledge within the field of electrical/electronic engineering to advance to YHC/HND level. This qualification will allow learners to pursue careers in electronics in roles such as computer technicians or as a trainees in the electrical/electronic engineering field.

This course uses a mixture of both practical activities and lectures to develop transferable skills towards employment within the electrical and electronic industries. Our qualifications are aimed at people wishing to become experts in their chosen trade. Learners will be taught in our state of the art bespoke workshops and classrooms by industry experienced tutors.

Qualification

Qualification
BTEC Higher National Certificate in Engineering
BTEC Level 3 qualification (DDM) in electrical or electronic engineering. Level 3 Certificate/Diploma in electrical installation will be considered. Prosp User 2
The Level 4 qualification teaches learners about electrical/electronic engineering through a mixture of practical work and classroom work.

The practical work teaches the hands-on skills needed for the trade, classroom work teaches the knowledge needed for the field.

There is a challenging level of math and physics embedded into this course as knowledge of these areas is crucial to this industry.
